So, my small back log of posts dwindled down to nothing. I will be setting more up but for every other day.
The real news is I have made four rings. They each are clasping a faceted stone and look wonderful. Two have white topaz, one with a giant citrine and the last is a peridot. I made these free form because I didn't have anything to size the rings as I made them. But my tools are in the mail so I will be posting rings to my etsy store soon.
The next thing I will be getting will be thicker silver wire and I might look into getting some gold filled wire as well for making rings. Unfortunately the smaller copper wire bends. I am testing some easy hardening methods but I'm not sure how well they will work. I test how well they work by making a ring for my mom to wear to work and then see what she thinks.
Also, itty bitty anvils are very hard to work on/with. Just so you know.
My domain www.PhyrBeads.com is now pointing to my etsy store. My plan was to build a website some two years ago. I figure this is a much better use of the domain until I can make a site with Google. It's so nice that they can do almost every thing.
